St. Michael’s Folk Festival,
St. Michael’s Street, St. Albans, AL3 4SH
Wednesday, 4th July 2018
St. Michaels Folk Festival is held annually on the first Wednesday of July (come rain or shine!). This year the event will take place on Wednesday 4th July. The events begin at 7.15pm when the bells of St. Michaels Church ring in the merriment!
Between 8-10pm, St. Michaels Street is closed to traffic and becomes the stage for over 30 open air dance performances. Live music can also be found in the pubs, the Churchyard and by the pudding stone! When the weather is fine, St. Michaels village is full to overflowing with dancers, musicians and spectators. It’s a family friendly evening full of fun, live music and much dancing!
We’d love to see you at the Festival, cheering on the CaperCeilidh dancers performing on the night.
